Welcome to the Telecompaper Mobile MVNO/SP List. This is a fairly comprehensive listing of MVNOs (Mobile Virtual Network Operators) and mobile SPs in the world today, as well as relevant news. Where possible, the defunct or purchased entities are listed as well. MVNEs are listed by country after MVNO/SPs. See below for general MVNEs, a news archive, some MVNO resources, etc.

(UK) ISP that offers mobile broadband as well and BT Talk Time. (SP) Full MVNO on Vodafone network, targeting Businesses. Became MNO in the UK after finalising the purchase of EE in 2016. (IT) New MVNO from December 2010 (IT) BT Italia, the Italian subsidiary of British Telecom, has decided to move from MVNO to full MVNO. In addition, the operator has changed its network partner from Vodafone to Telecom Italia. The agreement with the Italian operator's mobile unit TIM was signed back in August, but the changeover will take place in 2014
MVNO owned by PhoneHouse Espana. It offers a full range of mobile only and convergent (mobile plus fibre) plans, with customers able to sign up online or via 450 Phone House stores across Spain.

Euskaltel, S.A. is a telecommunications company based in the Spanish autonomous community Basque Country. The company has an MVNO agreement with Vodafone, previously it had an agreement with Amena to provide mobile service in the Basque country while Amena operated in the rest of Spain, but it was ended when Amena was absorbed by France Telecom, becoming Orange.
Spanish broadband provider Fibwi, present on the Balearic Islands, has launched as an MVNO on the Orange network begin 2016.
Spanish internet provider Jazztel signed at first an agreement with France Telecom Espana (Orange) to offer mobile services as MVNO. In May 2015 Orange Orange secured the European Commission’s approval of its EUR 3.4 billion takeover of Jazztel

Spanish telecommunications group Masmovil, the country's fourth largest network operator, has announced an agreement to acquire 100 percent of the shares of MVNO Lycamobile Spain (March 2020)

R is the trading name of R Cable y Telecomunicaciones Galicia, S.A., a Spanish cable company based in Galicia, Spain offering quadruple play services, (telephone, mobile phone, Internet and television).
This MVNO offers a loyalty point system, a mobile phone insurance and international mobile terminal rent services, as well as maps and GPS location devices and services.
Pre-paid, low cost, SIM-only MVNO launched. Owned 100% by KPN Mobile. Started in Germany, later roll-out in Belgium, Netherlands, Spain and France. End of 2011 Simyo France was sold to Bouygues Telecom. In december 2012, Orange has completed the acquisition of Spanish MVNO Simyo. Orange will continue using the Simyo brand, and Simyo will continue operating as a MVNO on the Spanish market. In Germany Simyo stopped in July 2016. In Belgium Simyo ceased operations in June 2017 due to the prepaid registration law.
Suop was launched in December 2013. The new operator describes itself as the first collaborative mobile operator on the Spanish market, managed by its own users. Suop was set up by a community of 2,000 members and aims to attract 100,000 customers over the next three years.
Cable company that operates in Asturias (northern Spain) offering triple play services (telephone, Internet and television) as well as mobile phone services as an MVNO since 2007.
Truphone focuses on its global network through its own network infrastructure (points of presence include: London, New York, Amsterdam, Sydney, California and Hong Kong) and partnerships with other operators. It offers an international multi-identity Sim which seamlessly switches to operate as a local Sim.
