Welcome to the Telecompaper Mobile MVNO/SP List. This is a fairly comprehensive listing of MVNOs (Mobile Virtual Network Operators) and mobile SPs in the world today, as well as relevant news. Where possible, the defunct or purchased entities are listed as well. MVNEs are listed by country after MVNO/SPs. See below for general MVNEs, a news archive, some MVNO resources, etc.

The iVittamobile SIM Card is a global roaming SIM with affordable calls and SMS worldwide exclusively available to Seafarers. The first edition of the SIM launched in February 2011. This product is sold in over 60 ports worldwide, via Seamen's Mission's and Seafarer's charities.
Jola is a global eSIM MVNO providing the UK’s first multi-network data eSIM to the UK ICT channel. Partners can order multi-network roaming connectivity, delivered via GSMA-compliant, removable or embedded data eSIMs in its white label portal, Mobile Manager.
The Lebara Group is a telecommunications company providing services in many European countries.

Lycamobile offers prepaid SIM cards with reduced international calling rates, focusing on users who normally use calling cards to phone abroad. The company has set up MVNOs in the following countries: UK, Germany, Sweden, Belgium, Switzerland, Netherlands, Portugal, Australia, Denmark, France, Ireland, Norway, Poland, Spain, Italy and recently US (March 2013) and Austria (November 2013), Tunisia (2015) and Romania (2015). Macedonia followed in 2016, and Lycamobile launched in Ukraine in July 2017. South Africa followed in 2019 and Uganda in 2020 It ceased its operations in Hong Kong in April 2018

In November 2016 Plusnet added mobile services to its existing fixed portfolio when it took over LIFE mobile's customers. Plusnet is a BT subsidiary.

International telecoms provider Spusu has partnered with BT Wholesale to launch MVNO mobile services in the UK, using EE's 4G and 5G network. Spusu launches in the UK with the motto 'simple.fair.for you.' and a commitment to freeze prices until 2024. The company already operates in Austria and Italy.

Vectone Mobile is a pre-pay service offering low call rates for local, national, and international calls, plus savings on SMS and roaming. Vectone Mobile is part of the Vectone Group of companies, owned by the Mundio Group In Sweden website automatically transfers to Lycamobile (Sep 18) In Czech Republic in November 2018 not possible to order Sim or recharge account, so assume stopped services. In Portugal stopped services in July 2018 Sep 19: Serbia website not working In Belgium stopped in July 2021
Virgin Mobile is a wireless communications brand used by eight independent brand licensees worldwide. Virgin Mobile branded wireless communications services are available in Colombia, the United Kingdom, Ireland (Virgin Media Ireland), Canada, Chile, Saudi Arabia, United Arab Emirates, Poland, South Africa, and México. Virgin Mobile branded services used to be offered in Australia, Singapore, India, Qatar and the United States.
